Birthday Week
Whew - it’s been a busy week with celebrating all three women in my family’s birthdays. There birthday are all within the same week, all three days apart!
We all went out to the Beihai Park ( 北海公园) today to get some air as well…
(I can’t believe Grace is due in less than 4 weeks!)

Paralympics - Wheelchair Rugby
We took the girls and went to a Wheelchair Rugby game with some friends yesterday - Sunday afternoon. Honestly I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t even aware of such an event. I’m embarrassed to admit that this is the first time watching the Paralympics to begin with - I don’t even recall the event ever being broadcast back in the States. Being in Beijing we’ve been watching it on TV and I must admit that I’ve been pretty blown away by the whole event and the participating athletes.
Anyhow, Wheelchair Rugby was super-intense and it was USA vs. Canada, who are apparently the top two teams in the world.

They sure grow up fast!
I pulled out Annika’s first tooth today. It’s been wobbling for about 4 days now and she asked me to pull it out today. How did I do it? Of course being the good ole’ Korean dad that I am, I tied a string around it, smacked her forehead back - gently of course - and voila, it came out with no pain ^^v.
I feel strangely proud
